Isolated thunderstorms will be possible today. The primary hazards will be lightning strikes and locally gusty winds. In addition, a combination of daytime highs near or in the lower 90s coupled with dew points in the mid to upper 70s will result in heat index values ranging from 105 to 108 today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible Saturday evening through Wednesday. The primary hazards will be lightning strikes and locally gusty winds. In addition, a combination of daytime highs near or in the lower 90s coupled with dew points in the mid to upper 70s may result in heat index values exceeding 108. Should confidence increase that these values will exceed 108, Heat Advisories may be required especially Friday through Sunday.
